First Chapter Fun – Live Reading of Lost Scroll of the Physician!

General

How’s everyone doing out there? I hope you’re staying healthy and well! What with the whole pandemic thing, I haven’t posted much in the past few weeks but am trying to be more consistent going forward (operative word being try 😉 )

Here are a few quick updates if you and the kids are in need of some quarantine distractions! A reader’s guide for THE LOST SCROLL OF THE PHYSICIAN is in the works and should be ready to go in the next few days! This is a fun and comprehensive resource that parents and teachers can use if they’re wanting some at-home materials focusing on Ancient Civilizations, STEM and literacy.

Hannah Mary McKinnon is also reading the first chapter of SCROLL live on Facebook on Friday, April 17 at 11:3o ET as part of her First Chapter Fun series. Join us for a fun Facebook watch party – great for kids AND adults!

I’ll also be joining an online kids book club on April 28th. If you’re a librarian or teacher reading SCROLL with your group, please don’t hesitate to reach out, I’d love to pop by for an online visit.

Also, I will be hosting a three hour online workshop on April 25th called How to Write YA & Kidlit. So You Want to Write has reduced the price by 50%! ($124.95 to $64.95). While focused on YA and Kidlit, this workshop is beneficial for anyone who wants to learn more about writing and the publishing industry in general.

I hope you’re all staying safe and finding comfort in the pages of a good book!

Until next time, stay safe and keep reading!

xoxo

Alisha
